The Clubs Archive...
The Club's Archive exists because of the generosity of members, both past and present as well as surprise finds in lofts, second-hand shops - and even e-bay!
There are trophies, badges, pennants,
silverware prizes, certificates, club vests, Gazettes and
Newsletters and - by far the biggest collection - photographs.
The collection of pictures is so big (we're talking a couple of
thousand or so that there are now several photographs of
individual athletes. The Archivist would love to be able to
identify all the athletes and, having done so, would like to
pass on all but one (for the archive) of each of the athletes
concerned.For the 2000-2010 folder, please
note this folder the athletes are known!
Please study the photographs: if you recognise yourself please
get in touch with the Archivist at
southendac@hotmail.co.uk who will be very happy to
pass them on to you. There is no charge [but if you wish to make
a modest contribution to post and packing, please make cheques
payable to Southend-on-Sea AC.]

There are around 2,000 photographs
currently "collecting cobwebs" in the Club's Archive, and they
are seeking a new home.
