Representations were made at the Essex CC Committee to avoid 13 November as Southend AC wished to avoid having 20+ runners absent for this fixture like what happened last year. We met intransigence from clubs that compete in other leagues and this meant very few dates were then available.
The SAC Committee apologises for the inconvenience and feels that having a home fixture on that day would at least encourage those who do normally run to turn out.
